Further to our last update, we have heard from the Employer who is available to meet in the afternoon of Thursday February 23, 2023 for a bargaining session.

As you recall, on January 20, 2023 your Bargaining Committee advised the Employer what our bottom line was in regard to pensionable wages.

As stated previously, we hope that the Employer has heard us and is now willing to show our members how valued they are.

If the Employer’s February 23, 2023 offer is not satisfactory, expect to hear from your CUPE 1063 Bargaining Committee and Executive Committee shortly thereafter regarding our next action. The committees will give the members adequate time to prepare for our next steps.

The bottom line is that you deserve a fair contract!

You’ve done your part, it’s time for the employer to do theirs.
