Tentative Agreement

Wages:

Year 1 (March 2021) 2.50%* GWI
Year 2 (March 2022) 2.25% (1.75% GWI; 0.50% PGA*)
Year 3 (March 2023) 2.25% (1.75% GWI; 0.50% PGA)
Year 4 (March 2024) 2.00% (1.50% GWI; 0.50% PGA)

Total over the four years: 9.00% (7.50% GWI; 1.50% PGA)

GWI: General Wage Increase PGA: Pay Grade Adjustment

Wages will be paid retroactively in the form of a lump sum. Details as to when this payment will occur to follow. Retroactive wage increases will apply to those who have left the company or retired, but were employed during the retroactive period.

*Note for members who have been red circled through the JJE process: Members who have been red circled where their job pay scale has decreased will get 50% of the GWI values above only. There will be no increases for the PGA values above beyond the date the red circling was effective.

**Note for members who have market value adjustments tied to their jobs: Both the GWI and PGA apply to the market value adjustment therefore receiving the full increase.

Benefits:

Mental Health Days: The two mental health days will no longer be deducted from sick time (effective ratification date)
Health Spending Account: Temporary increase from $700/year to $800/year effective April 1, 2023
Wellness Spending Account: Permanent increase from $225/year to $250/year effective January 1, 2023
Car Allowance: Permanent increase from $100/month to $150/month
Standby Changes (applicable to IT and Facilities only): Introduction of day shifts (8am to 4:30pm) on Saturday, Sunday and holidays before a working day. In exchange, the non-working day standby rate will increase from 2 hours to 3 hours. Effective ratification.

Other Changes:

Relatively minor wording changes to Article 10.08, 10.10, 14, 18.07, 19.05, 19.07, 19.08, 19.10 (b), Brandon Regional Office LOU.
Removal of the Joint Job Evaluation LOU and the Telecommuting LOU.
