Bargaining Update – #26

Further to Bargaining Update #25 sent on Thursday March 16, 2023, the Bargaining Committee will hold information sessions this week on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 pm.

The purpose of these sessions is to provide members with the details of the tentative agreement reached with the employer on March 16, 2023. The bargaining committee will provide a recommendation regarding acceptance of this offer as well as provide an opportunity to answer any questions you may have.

The meetings will be held on-line through Microsoft Teams. You can join the Teams meeting by using either the App (best for iPads, tablets and phones) or your internet browser (best for laptops and computers). If downloading the app, please ensure you are downloading the Microsoft Teams App prior to the session. The maximum capacity for each meeting is 300 participants. In order to ensure you are attending the meeting you want, we encourage you to join the meeting early and wait in the waiting room. Waiting room will be open at 6:30 pm. Prior to entry, you will be asked to input your name. Please use your FIRST and LAST name as attendance will be recorded. Please ensure your cameras are off and your microphone is on mute when entering the meeting. The links for each meeting can be found below:

A vote will be held from Thursday March 23, 2023 to Sunday March 26, 2023. Details of the voting process will be provided during the information sessions.
