Please find attached, a Committee Meetings and Elections poster in PDF and image formats for distribution to all members of affiliated CUPE Locals.

We request that your Local please send out this poster to your member email list and post to union boards, so that all CUPE members are informed and have the opportunity to get involved. We also encourage Local activists (Table Officers, Execs, Stewards) to join a provincial committee!

CUPE Manitoba Committees are great opportunities for members to get involved and develop new skills, and there is no cost to Locals for member participation. CUPE is the only union in Manitoba to offer so many opportunities for provincial committee participation.

As per CUPE Manitoba’s Policies, CUPE MB affiliated Locals are entitled to (1) one voting delegate and as many alternates as they wish. Delegates and Alternates must be named by the Local President in writing or via email and any changes must be received by the CUPE Manitoba office, at least one day prior to the meeting. For your convenience, we have attached the delegate form to be filled in and signed off by the Local President.

All upcoming meetings and events notices will be sent from the CUPE Manitoba directly to appointed delegates and alternates.  If you have any questions, please reach out directly to the CUPE Manitoba office.
