As you know, your Bargaining Committee recently returned to the table with a very strong strike mandate from the membership.

While our goal remains to bargain an agreement we believe is worthy of taking to members for consideration and vote, it is prudent that we be as prepared as possible for any situation. Therefore we are asking for volunteers that would be willing to serve various support positions (such as picket captains) should job action be necessary at some point in the future.

Meanwhile, your Bargaining Committee will be back at the table later this week and through the remainder of October attempting to get an offer that is fair and reflects your needs and priorities.
